Renee’ Lambert Barger: Loveslave’s Sounding Board and Annalist

Many thanks from Loveslave to Renee’ Lambert Barger, who sat in the back at our Avery’s Creek Pizza And Ribs show and clapped the loudest, sat in front and took what seemed like at least a hundred pictures — probably some at angles we would rather not be posted — and provided helpful and appreciated feedback on the sound to make sure that the crowd could hear Kathleen’s masterful lyrics and music over Brian’s congas.

We originally met Renee’ at Grace Biltmore, a church originally seeded out of Grace Community Church and pastored by our friend Gus Schill. We can’t mention Gus without mentioning his lovely and gracious wife, Kay Schill. They’re both gems. We miss you guys!

We saw Renee’ on and off after Grace Biltmore, but then she started coming to the Asheville campus of Seacoast Church, and now, we get to see her weekly again. Cool!

Renee’, you’ve followed Loveslave for years longer than anybody there last Friday night other than Kathleen’s parents, and we were really overwhelmed with your support and affection. You have shown love by doing and being. Thank you, and keep it coming!
